MEETING NEWS
The General Meetings are held quarterly, July, October, January, April on the third Tuesday of the month at the Mary Immaculate Hospital Community Education and Health Resource Center. The meeting begins at 2:00pm.  All meetings will be held at Mary Immaculate Hospital (MIH) Resource Center (located directly across from the main hospital entrance).  

NEXT MEETING:  October 18th, 2011 (Added September 30, 2011)

  • Meeting will be held from 2:00pm-3:30pm
  • Meeting will feature:
    • Introduction of new GVPCCC Executive Committee; including new officers
    • A report on the Legislative Breakfast that will be held on Sept. 28th; Steve Kast will present an overview of the breakfast and action steps that each agency can do to further support local non-profits and their work. 
    • Presentation by Kasia Grzelkowski, of the ARC of the Virginia Peninsula on the CNU Economic Impact Study for Non-Profits.
    • The presentation and vote on the proposed change of the GVPCCC structure by the Strategic Planning sub-committee of the Homeless Task Force.
    • Ballots will be given out for each agency that has paid dues for 2011-12, in regard to structure change and to vote on one at-large member for the GVPCCC Executive Committee.

    In lieu of another presentation to the GVPCCC and sensitivity to time, we are forwarding the presentation for everyone to review and come prepared with questions prior to the vote at October 18th meeting. 

EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE MEETINGS

Executive Committee Meetings are first Friday of the month at 11 a.m.  Sister Fidelia room at the MIH Conference Center.
